It is actually faster if you don’t follow the manual. First attach the left diagonal side piece, then the two equal pieces for books and the wooden bell, then the top panel for placing scriptures to read, and finally the back panel. Done.

The shoe cabinet is sturdy and weighs around 11 lb. The walnut color matches well with the space in the worship room. A brighter color would not fit as well. Overall, I am very satisfied.
