The bookshelf feels a bit weak and not very sturdy. If you put too many books on it, the boards may bend under the weight. The wood also has an unpleasant odor, similar to wet cardboard, and I am not sure if it will go away over time. On the positive side, it is easy to assemble and the design looks fine. With better materials it could be used for books, but with this material it is only suitable for lighter items.

Easy to assemble. It works for light items and a few books, but if you fill it with books the weight is too much and the shelf cannot hold it.
